G-Beanz electrifies audiences of all ages with his mixture of styles ranging from hip-hop to pop, with a little bit of rock influence. He is known for his ability to write, sing, produce, record, and mix his own albums. Born in Michigan, as a child WeBuiltThisCity would record freestyles on his karaoke machine on a blank cassette tape with his brother, but didn't start taking music seriously until the age of 15. He explains " I started writing poetry and it took my interest in music to another level, i wasn't interested in much of anything else than my music, while most high school kids were out partying i was trying to perfect my music, i just hit the ground running."
