Theatre creates an everlasting impact on young minds and helps in creating sensitive and responsible citizens. Keeping this view in mind, the college has been successfully conducting a 100-hour short-term add-on course on 'Effective Communication and Personality Development through Theatre' (ECPDT) for last five years. The course seeks to hone skills to promote effective communication, dynamic leadership, critical thinking and decision-making, besides the ability to think creatively and act confidently through acting, improvisations, performances and scripting. In the same vein, the college has staged three annual theatre productions - 'Sau Mein Laga Dhaga', 'Ye Daagh Daagh Ujaala', and 'Khul Ja Sim Sim' since 2011 to give students a platform for showcasing their acting skills. The participants realise that the theatre has helped them in building confidence and overcoming hesitations.
